mouse input inside fixed Update in 2019
I had some mouse inputs inside fixed Update ... such as on mouse down would place a prefab ... my prefab has some physics that would self update once placed on the ground, reason i need it in fixed update ... this worked beautifully in unity 2018 ... but after upgrading my mouse inputs inside fixed update does not seem to be picked 8 out of 10 times , as if there is a serious lag ...BUT ... for several reasons I need this input in fixed update.... has anyone any idea why this would not work in unity 2019 ... yet it worked great in 2018... is there anything I could do to fix it ... i would be very grateful for any suggestion thanks in advance
Why do you NEED input inside FixedUpdate
? it runs every 0.02
seconds by default so there's bound to be input lag. Can you explain a little bit more?
