How to make 2D ball roll
Hi, I am trying to make a golf game in 2D. The ball is launched similar to Angry Birds, you touch (click) it, you drag your finger (mouse) and the ball launcehs in an opposite direction.
direction = InitialPosition - mMouseMovePos;
LaunchVelocity = new Vector2(direction.x * force, direction.y * force);
This is how I move the ball. Now, my problem is this: Everything works fine, the ball flies in the desired direction with desired speed, but I want it to look more realistic, so i need the ball to roll or rotate, but no matter what, the sprite just stays the same and i just cant figure out a way to do it, could someone please help me?
