Configurable Joint break force and angle / movement limit,Configurable Joint not working as expected
Cable with Bones breaking apart or falling through the floor. It falls to the ground and appears to be broken in multiple places or parts of the cable are below the floor. It should act like a rope, but less flexible and does not fold or break.
I want to ensure the bones can not bend too far. My goal is to ensure the cable will appear round and never flat as it moves and bends. I tried setting limits to angles and that had no effect on the result. Can you assist with the base setting needed?
For each bone I have: Rigidbody Use Gravity is checked Freeze Rotation for X,Y,Z is checked
Sphere Collider the radius is sized to not overlap the next bone collider
Configurable Joint Connected Body is set to the parent bone in the armature Rotation Drive Mode is set to Slerp Break force is set to Infinity Break Torque is set to Infinity,Cable with Bones breaking apart or falling through the floor.
