Rigidbody on Rigidbody bouncing problem
found another question named the same, no answers, no help. from 2015
As the title says:
the two bricks on the outside bounce fine, the one in the middle, falls on the platform and comes to a complete stop.
what questions can i anticipate, here is the inspector for both the brick object and the player bar is basically the same. There is no physics material on the bar, but I've tried it with different materials, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've tried resizing my scene to affect the physics, but it remains the same. also included is the physics material. DF=0 SF=0 Bounce = 1 FC = min BC = max any suggestions?

Solution: In the collision method for the brick, where "r" is the bricks rigidbody. the halting impulse is that equal and opposite force stopping the brick, so, reinforcing that impulse after its stopped. (after the collision) makes it bounce
if (collision.transform.tag == "bar")
{
r.velocity = collision.impulse;
}
