Surely, surely, surely there should be an ADVANCED space
Now that spaces have been implemented ..
SURELY
there should be an "advanced" space?
It would become incredibly popular.
The huge advantage is: it would be totally OK to moderate away lame questions; moderating would be "harsh" on such a space.
This would be a HUGE SUCCESS. Surely Unity should consider this?
100% of expert users would follow it.
Lately it's basically impossible to ask an advanced question, they get no viewership.
Why not just try this for a few weeks?
I think we had intended the creation of the Help Room to infer that the main List would be for intermediate to advanced content. It hasn't quite turned out this way, so I'd second that.
The trouble is that since $$anonymous$$obile platforms went 'free' the number of users willing to share advanced material is thinning rapidly.

We could just change the default dropdown setting on new Q's to "HelpRoom".
Add one line after it about selecting Spaces.
Think that would also help immensely with the mod queue problem (most of the questions there are really help room Qs.) We might have to move a few serious Qs from Help to Main (experienced game designers who haven't used UA before,) but less work than we're doing now, moving Qs from Main to Help. And you'd feel better about doing it.
