Set Oculus Rift Rotation to 0 when starting game
Hey there,
I program a virtual environment for a listening test.
Here, the localization angles must be correct.
I try desperately to set the rotation of the Oculus Rift to 0.
I use the following code in the start function:
_steamRend = UnityEngine.Object.FindObjectOfType<SteamVR_Render>();
_steamRend.trackingSpace =Valve.VR.ETrackingUniverseOrigin.TrackingUniverseSeated;
Valve.VR.OpenVR.System.ResetSeatedZeroPose();
It does something, y rotation is round about 0, but the x rotation is still at 5.9 degrees. Z rotation isn't 0 as well.
The Oculus is mounted on a dummy head for verification, so does not move a bit.
Maybe someone needs this information: I use the SteamVR CameraRig.
Does anyone have any idea how to get it set to 0 rotation when starting my Game?
I thank you once for every hint or idea.
greeting
Silke
