cube-heavy game lagging.
hi, so this is my first game, so im pretty new to this thing. my game (so far,) takes place in a library. its composed of over 5000 cubes, some models from the internet, and a few other objects. when i play the game, it starts out really laggy, but it gets a bit better. not by much though. i was wondering if there is some way to reduce lag in the game. im not concerned about graphics in this case. its gonna be pretty bare bones. recently, i tried undoing the placement of a ton of books, and it crashed unity. is this all a problem with my computer (which is above average,) or is there something im doing wrong?

Most of the times its the PC configuration which is the reason because unity can handle upto 9000+ cubes(with rigid body) click here to know more about this what you can do is try building your game and then try to run it as the Unity editor also consumes a ton of memory or go to edit>project setting>Quality and reduce everything to minimum
