GoogleSignIn unity package dependency conflict google play service
Please Help
I have been updating several sdk's on someone elses old project including firebase analytics and firebase auth. Initially I had a conflict between play-games-services-auth 16 (for google signin) and 19 (newest, comes with firebase I think).
if I remove the dependency for extra-google-m2repository from the GoogleSignInDependencies,xml then the build issue dissapeares, but google sign in throws a runtime error on my android device.
When building I got this error.
Duplicate class com.google.android.gms.auth.api.Auth$AuthCredentialsOptions found in modules jetified-com.google.android.gms.play-services-auth-19.2.0-runtime.jar (:com.google.android.gms.play-services-auth-19.2.0:) and jetified-play-services-auth-16.0.1-runtime.jar (com.google.android.gms:play-services-auth:16.0.1) Resolved this by changing the dependency from signin's dependencies file to match the version with firebase sdk 19.2.0

I noticed the file names that contain the classes com.google.android.gms.play-services-auth-19.2.0-runtime.jar and jetified-play-services-auth-19.2.0-runtime.jar .
I have tried exporting the unity project to android studio to try and find where the jetified-play-services-auth-19.2.0-runtime.jar comes from, but no luck.
I have been banging my head against this for days, not getting anywhere. What am I missing? Are there any logs, gradle files, androidmanifest I need to ad to this post?
