Unity 2d performance on old hardware
I have some serious performance issues when testing a unity 2d(sprites only) game on some older hardware(laptop hp 550:cpu dual core 1.4ghz,ram 2gb,gpu :g960 or something...).The scene I ran was very basic, just a sprite with a rigidbody2d controller by player's input and a camera which is following it(it's in top down view) but the fps wasn't even getting to 30,I didn't display the fps but it looked like crap compared to how it runs on my other pc at 30(I used application.targetframerate).The thing is some other games like those Baby hazel or Papa's pizzeria work really well, even the platformer ones but with unity it runs so bad it's unplayable.I'm not sure what the problem is,maybe the shader?,or something else... So,if anyone could advise me I would appreciate it.
