Why are Unity Websites using my cpu? (firefox/chrome)
When i use the asset store in chrome or firefox. i find my browser locking up and cpu going up, this has been so bad that i started using the browser brave to browse the asset store.
i have recently experienced a similar problem when at unity answers. My cpu is blowing up and i have to close the tab.
i am thinking that the issues are related and stemming from the unity website development team. it bothers me to think that they are utilizing my cpu for some task, but unity's philosophies have been tipping in the direction of data collection, so i feel the hypothesis is not so far fetched.
i am wondering if others are experiencing such issues with any of Unity's websites or if anyone know why my browsers are reacting to Unity's websites and if it can be fixed. it is important to note that i have not experienced the issue on any other websites except for unity's. Unity Website Open:
