accelerometer video

Hello!

I am new to unity and I am trying to create an application where my android device screen masks a part of a video and reveals more of it as I move the device on the horizontal axis. (therefore the video will be larger than my screen in width).
a reference for what I am trying to do can be found here (but with the user able to move the screen back and forward to display different parts of the video).
I have experimented with skybox but It seems that it only helps with creating panoramic videos (not what I am looking for). is there a way to do this? maybe with the accelerometer? any tutorials on that?
