Animated bodys into Unity

Im trying to make a good looking character in 3DS max for my Unity game, the problem is that im not really good at it. So i was thinking if there's a free legal character download witch has the same quality as, let's say Skyrim. What im after is the hands, been trying to make my own hands, but the skeleton animations are to hard for me.

You probably cannot get Skyrim quality character models for free, unless its through through illegal download .
If you are new to character modelling then making gothic/ancient characters like Skyrim would not be easy at all. I would suggest you to have a look at the asset store as a lot of good models are available for free download or at some price which are usually not very high.
