Either Custom hands jitter or local avatar doesn't grab

I cant get either of these to work. I got an app id (rift) and used default local avatar hands and it moves smooth but will not grab, using custom hands innsame project gets the hands to grab immidetly bug then custom hands jitter when mvoing them quickly (so will grabbed object). Can anyone help me fix either one of these things. Ic ant find a good answer. unity is 2019 1.2f1
