Packaging and running Python from within Unity Builds
Hello!
I am currently using ML-Agents to train neural networks, though they depend on the Python API - which works fine in the editor, but doesn't work in a build. This doesn't allow me to train my agents during runtime from inside the build, which is what my whole application evolves around.
I have read about IronPython, but it currently only supports Python 2.x, not 3.x. Both Tensorflow and PyTorch currently run on Python 3.x.
Is it possible to FULLY SHIP python with a solution like IronPython (or even better an alternative supporting Python 3.x) inside my unity build, so that end users don't need to have python installed on their machine and can just use my build folder to run the application successfully?
Did you ever find a solution for this issue? Having the exact same problem of trying to run mlagents in a build.
