FPS drop when moving against objects
In my game I have a table with a few gameobjects on it. One of the objects is a lantern which I modelled, and it has quite a few vertices/faces. The weird thing is that my fps only drops when I'm moving around the table (pushing against it/moving side to side when standing in front of it). The other objects on the table are 3 books I modelled. (Not that many vertices, but still a couple)
I removed the mesh colliders on the models and added simple box colliders instead.
Does anyone know why my fps drops? Is it because of the models? and what can I do to fix it?
Check the profiler and where it spikes. That's the best debugging solution you have in such cases.
from the looks of the color, some script is causing this. is you change the bottom view you will see the methods and how much CPU time they take up. this will help you get to the reason.
also read the documentation about the profiler, or will help in the future
