Warping models
Hey, I don't really know how to call this or where to start to look for this solution, so I'll explain my problem and hope someone can just give me a name or link from where I can move forward.
I have a model of a small piece of a castle wall (thick with space to walk on). Now when I place these walls, I want them to not go in a straight line and connect to each other properly. Just rotating the model won't make them fit. If we look at it as a simple cuboid, I only need to distort the x and y positions of the corners. Look at it as flat rectangles on the ground, where the corner pieces connect to one another, but the rectangles are slightly distorted (irregular quadrilateral). Then all the details of the model will distort along this shape.
I think I'm explaining it much more complicated than necessary but I hope you get my point, hahah Thanks!
