Animation works in animation window, but cannot be applied to a gameobject
So, I have a train which I want to move, but I want the wheels and stuff to rotate as well. I made a separate animation for the wheels to rotate. However, the object on which I made the animation is as follows:
There is an empty object named Train, on which the animation is created. This object holds 2 empties with no components: Rails (which holds the rails objects) and Train, which holds the train Engine and a wagon. These are the objects that I want to move.
I made an animation for this. However, when I want to apply this in game, I cannot get it to work. I need to use an animator controller, which requires an avatar. But I can only generate an avatar from a mesh, and my Train object (the one on which the animation is created) holds a number of meshes.
How do I do this? I simply want the animation to play automatically.
