Mecanim and body orientation
The problem is mecanim keeps changing the animation so that the character is turned with the chest pointing forwards.
When holding some guns though, you have to turn your body. Mecanim is forcing the chest orientation to be 'Forwards'
In blender I have made an animation for holding long guns.
In unity it comes out like this. He is aiming left instead of turning his body while looking forward as intended.
I have been fiddling with import settings for awhile, any ideas? I would prefer to keep using the humanoid option.
