Racing Game - Polygon Limit
Hello,
I am currently developing a racing game for VR. As such I need it to run at 90 FPS on a high-end, Gaming VR ready computer (think Quad-core 3.3GHZ, NVIDIA GTX 970 and 8GB RAM).
There is a fairly basic environment (Grass, race track, maybe 8 textures in the entire scene) and skybox.
Say I had 8 (moving, 7 AI controlled, 1 player controlled) cars in every scene, how many polygons could each car be?
What would that limit be if there were only 4 cars with the same conditions above?
What is the overall polygon limit for my scene?
