Character Problem (Maya)
Hello guys,
I'm using maya for character. But, clothes are the problem. I'm showing a picture of the problem.
There is no problem with the Maya.
But, Unity, it doesn't seem good.
What is the reason of this?

Unity handles meshes differently as opposed to maya ... just give the virtices of this cloth mesh a bit more offset in their normal direction ... this is not that big problem it's just that your cloth mesh is wrapping your body mesh a bit tight
I'm using "$$anonymous$$arvelous Designer" for clothes. Transactions ; $$anonymous$$.Designer Export Obj > $$anonymous$$aya Import > Selected New Clothes and Rig : Bind Skin > Selected Clothes and Character : Copy Skin Weights.
Result : $$anonymous$$aya, shown in the images. No problem. But, Unity it does not seem good. I wonder, merging the problem? Or, What are your suggestions for the character at the low poly?
It doesn't matter what software you are using to model this character but the problem is that the vertices of the mesh of clothes are too close to the vertices of mesh of character body ... simply move the vertices of clothes a bit away from character body (before any rigging)
You may also want to double check the vertex influence in $$anonymous$$aya to make sure it is set to 4 bone influences per vertex. Unity only allows a maximum of 4 bones to effect one vertex, and in most 3D apps the vertex influence is not set this low. In order to get an accurate representation of the mesh in 3D the settings will need to match Unity's setting as close as possible.
