Collider component not working on free falling object!
Hi Im a complete beginner to unity. Im trying to make an arcade game. I have placed a few objects on the Y axis with the intention being that they fall on the ground when i hit the play button. I have attached rigid body to the ground as well as the objects. Also used Box colliders on both. But when i hit the play button, the object passes right through the ground. I have also kept the sorting layer to 10 for both the objects so that they are on the same level. Please help!

$$anonymous$$aybe one of the colliders "IsTrigger"? Trigger colliders don't stop movement. Also you may want to change collisionDetection$$anonymous$$ode on your Rigid Body to continuous. It may be possible that your object falls to fast and Unity doesn't register that those objects collided
