Count objects inside a dynamic area?
Hi everyone!
After several hours of googling this I can't quite find what I need to do:
I need to count the amount of objects in an area created by the player (ex. Cows inside a fenced area made by the player).
If the game was in 2D, I could use a polygon collider, but in this case the game is done in 3D, so I ran out of options afaik.
How can I achieve this? I can't use a radius calculation because the shape of the area is irregular. If anyone can help me, I would be very happy!
Thanks!
