Named pipe not working in release buid
I have a client pipe packed in a dll, that i reference in a controller created in Unity. When I run my project from Unity it self, there is no problem creating the pipe connection. But when I build the project and runs it stand alone, no connection is established. I am really lost to what is happening and what I am missing, can someone help me here?
you didn't get errors when import the dll into your project if you set framework to 2.0 subset?

I found the solution myself, it's was due to my simple knowledge of Unity. The solution was to change Api Compatibility Level from .NET 2.0 Subset to .NET 2.0!
If anyone have problems with pipes, put a comment, and I'll leave an example :)
Hi, I am having the same issue. It would be great if you could show me how you got NamedPipes working with Unity?
i would also really like to know how you got named pipes to work in unity. I read that they aren't really supported in mono.
