Idle RPG - Database or other strategy?
Hi,
My intent is to build a game similar to the famous "Idle Heroes", where you basically have different heroes, choose between the ones you own to make a team, equip them with runes and items, fight PVP and PVE, and get rewards for Idling.
I've completed the battle scene with random instantiated prefabs (my heroes), but now I'm stuck on the development and don't know what to do.
I have 3 prefabs which are basically my heroes database for testing, but I now need to join the battle with my very own team, made from a pool of heroes that I own, How do I do that?
My idea was to create the basic database tables and relations and somehow interact through queries that are called by pressing buttons in my game, is it correct or does Unity have some different or more optimised way to do so?
I hope I was clear enough, please ask for any information missing or ask questions if something is not clear. Even a good video tutorial could help, I can't find the right words to search the video I'm looking for.
