Does editor version affect the build?
Hi. I have a sample project which I am building using the same command line using two different editor versions and there are some (minor?) differences in some files of the resulting builds. Does the editor version with which you build your project make any sort of major difference in the real builds? In other words, would you be concerned if your project is built with a newer editor version than the one you've created it with?
Thanks for looking at this.
Well, I can't see why not would be different. It's another version, that's why exist updates and "Release notes".
Thanks for commenting. Sorry if the question sounds stupid. The WebGL builds of the sample Kart microgame that I've created with 2019.4 and 2020.3 differ in the following files: .\dependencies.txt .\guid.txt .\index.html .\projectversion.txt .\templatedata\style.css .\templatedata\webgl-logo.png Those differences seem to be rather $$anonymous$$or to me. I am trying to understand if they are indeed $$anonymous$$or from a developer's perspective and if a real project would have more significant differences.
