Why is my Player Camera jittery when strafing and turning?
Hello, I'm having some issues with jittering/ stuttering camera movements when I "walk circles around something" with gamepad. It seems to occur when my left joystick is pushed all the way over (Strafing) and my right joystick is slightly pushed over (Turn). So basically, when I strafe in a circular motion, objects near to the camera look very jittery, objects far away don't look so bad. It doesn't seem frame rate dependent, it happens even with frame rates above 100fps.
So, im not sure if this is my gamepad configuration or not. I'm using a DS4, the joysticks are mapped to "mouseX" & 'mouseY". Settings are:
Gravity = 0
Dead = 0.16
Sensitivity = 0.9
I also increased the FPSController's "Mouse Look Sensitivity" to 7 on X & Y.
Anyone else experience this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
