Mesh floats above capsule collider
Can some one please explain why when I go into "play mode", or whatever its called, my stuff gets all messed up and changes from what I had before I hit play? I am trying to use the default 3rd person controller on my blender mesh. I got all the animations work and everything the only thing is that when I hit play the 3rd person controller "capsule" and my mesh no longer are placed correctly. I put my mesh in the middle of the capsule and when I hit play the my mesh gets pushed up and the capsule hits the floor like it should. The end result being that my mesh hovers above the floor but still moves with the capsule and everything like it should. I watched several tutorials and I followed them but there must be something that I am missing.
is the capsule and mesh a component of the same object?
If using blender or imported models, the animations are imported if you don't change his setting to don't import. Then an animation component is probably attached to your hierarchy object with play on awake, resetting all your positions etc to the imported blender transforms.

After messing around and re-importing a couple times I got it to work. I don't really know how or what I did but its working.
