Hiding the part of a UI text behind a 3D object
I have a UI text which should have part of it hidden when it intersects a 3D object. I'm not sure how to accomplish this. One way that I thought of could be casting many rays in order to cover the entire UI text rect area towards the camera and check whether the path is free from the 3D object, but this sounds rather expensive (and a lot of work, too).
Is there any other way to accomplish this?
