Animation layer playing on top of text box
I have a prefab which contains a number of items (Text boxes, images, button, hit area). I have created an animator to play animations at different interactions. All of which works fine. However I am having issues with the layering of the prefab. Whenever I play the animation it plays on top all of the other items, which is not ideal. Ideally I'd like it to play below the text boxes, etc that are there. I have tried creating a separate gameobject within the prefab and attaching all of the content including the sprite renderer to that (instead of having it on the top level game object) but with no luck. I have also tried setting that gameobject to a different sorting layer but am still having the same problem. Any ideas on what may be causing this issue?
