Two shader at two different distance in a single mesh ?
Hi everyone and sorry if the question is stupid am a designer not the programmer.
I have to use a mesh for the terrain instead of unity terrain who would make my life much more easier with the paint tool it is for a mobile race game I have one texture for the all terrain that worked perfectly when we are far in distance but when we are on the side of the road the same texture as you can image is very ugly this is why I want to use two shaders, one with the texture of the terrain, and the other with grace texture that work perfectly on close up and switch one shaders to another by distance so when we are close to the car we see the grace shaders texture and far away we see crass texture cross fade in the terrain is that possible ? escuse my English I am French if you could help me this is would make my life much more easier thank you for any help
