Can you use the physical hololens buttons as input to a Unity program?

Hello, I've seen a few different guides on how to add UI buttons, use gestures, or use a joystick device with the Hololens, but I could not find any information about using four buttons on the headset itself in Unity.

There are two by the left ear (which seem to change brightness) and two by the right ear (which seem to change volume). Is it possible to put them to an alternative use, and use them as input to a unity program?

I.e. imagine an AR game where you click one of the buttons on the headset to shoot a laser directly ahead, like Cyclops from X-men :D.

I don't think you can, I wasn't able to. Did you get a clicker with you Hololens? You could use that, the functionality mimics the hand gesture so you can do the click and click and hold. I don't think you can do the bloom effect with it.
