unity 2018 not launching
ok so i've been using unity 5.4.2of2 and i recently downloaded unity 2018.1.of2 but whenever i try to launch, even with a newly created project, this comes up:
Your project was last saved with a different version of unity.
(it has the path to the project)
the saved project (2018.1.0b6) does not match the launched editor (2018.1.of2).
this may require re-import. please be aware that opening in an older version is unsupported.
not that if a build target installation is missing, this may also cause a re-import.
i click "continue" but then it starts to load and stops on this:
com.unity.analytics\UnityEngine.Analytics.dll
the loading window is called "hold on" and it is marked as "not responding in the task manager".
i want to use 2018, what do i do?!
