How can I launch a game inside another "game"?
Hey, Guys
I was wondering about to make something like the xbox live arcade, when you have a set of minigames to select and play. But I'm not sure.... is that possible?
I know, That's a weird question, but that's the way I am (hee hee)
i have no ideea ... but i think the actual question should be : how can I make a screen divided 2 or more players game
and even there ... i am going to do some research for you ..
yea.. but as long as i know .. unity does not support external apps ... unless you will write a gameobject like app , and program it like so
i was thinking if you could be able to modify the texture pixel by pixel and take a plane attach it to , and program over the texture .. something like the canvas of html5 but as texture on an object..

Depends on how you built your mini games. I think.
If each mini-game or a pack-of-levels with entry point, you could simply call Application.LoadLevel with appropriate index provided all of them are built together. But, thats not what you are asking for I guess.
On the web, many have built Virtual worlds ( Unity 3D scenes ). When you interact with a trigger, the other mini-games are launched with avatar transported into the minigame. There is no way to build everything together as it will be insane to wait for the whole thing to download. So they use AssetBundles, where each minigame is a bundle.
Check out http://www.jumpstartworld.com for an example
One more thing you can do is simply launch an external executable.
