Under Spaces dropdown, should there be an option to go back to "All Questions" view?

I tried to change the topics (formerly tags?) for a post but I can't seem to create a new topic.

PS: The $$anonymous$$oderator Guidelines write-up still refers to these as Tags.

Under Spaces dropdown, should there be an option to go back to "All Questions" view?

Clicking the "Home" link upper-left of the question seems to go back to All-Questions.

Edit : ... and I had the same problem with trying to make a new tag/topic.

Creating tags/topics was changed to an ad$$anonymous$$-only permission a few months ago, due to there being too many topics/tags (and several useless ones). If you need new topics added, please let me know. I can create a separate thread about tag/topic creation here in the $$anonymous$$ETA space for requests.

Yes, the Home button links back to the default Space. Having one from the drop-down menu could be a good idea as well if it helps with navigation. Let me investigate on how to set this up.

I have 3 main problems/inconveniences with the new webpage design.

1: There used to be a "Unity Answers" button which took you straight back to the main questions page. I see a "Home" button, but it doesn't always appear (for example, the main questions page (for refreshing) and the question approval page).

2: On the question approval page, I can no longer reply to entries. This means that for questions which need to be discussed before approving/rejecting, there is two extra steps for opening the question/answer, making it only viewable to other moderators and the poster, and commenting on it there.

3: The new design is too white for my taste.

@Luka$$anonymous$$otar

  1. I think we need the default/main site to be part of the Spaces menu. Right now you can reach it by clicking on the Answers link (top of page) or through the node-tree menu (next to the Spaces menu) but it may not be entirely clear.

  2. We're working on a solution for this. Would rather have a drop-down menu similar to closing a question, but we will see what takes longer to implement and what makes most sense.

  3. We're seeing over the style but from a functional perspective. $$anonymous$$ore clear dividers, making sure the most important content is in focus, etc.

I have some suggestion and problem with this new UA. hope this helps.

  1. some user profile picture are fail to load, and if it does it show link labeled "avatar image" which is very bad, it should not labeled with anything.

  2. when using large screen resolution, the right side information should docked and the main QA should be wider. the current layout seems not resized when i zoo$$anonymous$$g out with my browser.

  3. adding some spaces between answers may help to reduce clutterness in this new design.

Quick suggestion about the comment section, the "down arrow" icon looks like a dropdown rather than a "vote down" button. This could be fixed by either changing the "like" button to an upward arrow or changing the down arrow to a text. There is also an issue with the tooltip, which says "Vote comment up" when hovering over the downvote button. So... I do appologise @SaraCecilia if that had an effect on your karma. :P It wasn't intentional.

Edit: Never $$anonymous$$d, all this is irrelevant now

Edit 2: It is still the case when the comments are expanded with "Show more comments"

Edit 3: When editing a comment (I haven't tried editing an answer yet) it shows up as "[Username] edited: [Question title]" on the main page (or in this case, the $$anonymous$$ETA space). It could say something like "[Username] edited a comment on: [Question title]" to avoid confusion.

Added a suggestion, but I find it unclear if we should make posts in the $$anonymous$$ETA space, or only comment in this thread. Feel free to clean up if you need but please don't blindly delete it unless you are someone like SaraCecilia who can say yay or nay :)

I'm experiencing a problem in which I have a very low acceptance rate for my questions. I'm pretty sure the source of the problem is the number of poor users in the community who don't accept answers, or even leave comments. Therefore, I propose an idea. Please, take a look at it. I think it's very important and necessary in freeing up the clutter in Unity Answers.
