Outside game clear screen
So I have this issue where I'm playing a game with a 4:3 resolution on a 16:9 screen so I have black cutouts on the sides of my game which is fine, but external programs that appears on the side do not clear themselves when they leave like the nvidia green tab on the top right in this example or steam overlays and such. Any way to fix this issue? Thanks.
are you're video card drivers installed correctly and up to date?
$$anonymous$$e did that on s$$anonymous$$m, the last update i had done, started crashing my explorer while i was working in unity, that went on for a week until i got another update and it went awake.. Didn't do it on Unity $$anonymous$$d you however it did with alt+tab on s$$anonymous$$m in say Rust for example.
Right I forgot to test that, I think the problem started when implementing s$$anonymous$$m connection to the game so I disabled the s$$anonymous$$mmanager and it seems to not do that anymore so it's probably a s$$anonymous$$m overlay issue of some sort, I'll try update my drivers as well to see if that fixes the issue other if you have another idea for the probably s$$anonymous$$m glitch then let me know, thanks.
hmmm, after more testing, re-enabled s$$anonymous$$m and updated my driver, I'm still getting the issue, not sure why it wasn't doing it for a $$anonymous$$ute...
s$$anonymous$$m overlay is a pain, you need it for what your doing though right? yeah it prob wasn't the drivers i was unaware of the s$$anonymous$$m part. that kinda makes more sense now.
