How do I check for a specific char in a TextMeshPro object?
Hi, I'm a total beginner at Unity so please forgive me for any errors.
Basically, I'm trying to have my dialogue system pause slightly after a comma or full stop is typed to somewhat mimic real-life speech.
However, I'm having trouble identifying whether a specific character is a full stop or comma in my TextMesh Pro object.
Here's the if statement as-is:
