how to use vrgaze to change the color of the cube

hi! im trying to create a project where when the user click on the cube it should change colours every time the user clicks on the cube. so i used this script ( https://zakalberda.wordpress.com/2017/03/03/change-color-of-a-game-object-when-clicking-on-it-source-code/ ) actually the code works.but when i used the same script for vr gaze it is not working.how to solve this. for vrgaze i tired the same steps in this tutorial below and used the above script instead of the script used in this vrgaze tutorial(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YTVsLnK-XU).so please do reply.im trying for vr gaze. @Selzier @Hellium
