Finding a players location
Hello
In my game, I need to find a player's real life location (city & country), in order to tailor the game for the player. I downloaded one script from the Asset Store for this purpose, however it doesn't show the city.
I was wondering, does anyone know of a way to find out a player's real life location, including the city.
Thank you
Dok
Are you really want to find the real person location? or you want to find the player inside the game where you created the city and player?. And can you share the link of the assetstore where you downloaded the script.
No not the player's location in the game, the player's real life location on a world map. This was the Asset Store package https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#!/content/4032, but a solution doesn't have to be compatible with that

Just a note about this: What if the player does not have the PC connected to the internet (or WiFi switched off if the game is on a handheld device) ? You should think about this too when playing the game :)
In any case, if the asset that you downloaded does not work, maybe you can get the IP address and then use some online service to get the country from there.
Maybe these can help you:
