The DontDestroyOnLoad function appears without being called. What's going on?

I am working with Amazon Web Services and every time I place the AWS prefab in the Hierarchy panel the DontDestroyOnLoad function appears and takes the prefab. There is not object containing the DontDestroyOnLoad function. alt text
