Setting up Amazon Web Services - AWS SDK for .NET

The 'AWS mobile SDK for Unity' is now included in the 'AWS SDK for .NET': https://docs.aws.amazon.com/mobile/sdkforunity/developerguide/what-is-unity-plugin.html

However there are no instructions on how to set this up without using the Unity sdk. Do I need to copy some files into the project? Is there a menu option somewhere in Unity to enable it? Do I use the dotnet cli? Do I use nuget? Do I need to download and extract a zip?
