Let player paint textures in-game (Like Garden Flipper)
Anyone know what technique is behind letting the player paint tiling textures in-game like in Garden Flipper? Would you do this by painting masks that reveal a certain texture on a shader? Any help in pointing me in the right direction is appreciated!
Edit: I have found some techniques with vertex painting, but in Garden Flipper there seem to be no limit on how many different textures you can paint out.
