Question by Martin 1 · Jul 28, 2010 at 05:01 PM · animationlocomotion

Where can I find the Locomotion System tutorial?

I just started learning Unity3D and decided to use Locomotion System as my main character engine...

i found this thread "http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/11766/locomotion-tutorial-no-animation" where guy said that he started Locomotion Tutorial, i can't find this tutorial.

If it has been removed, could you please tell me how i properly have to add scripts and make my character move as it should be.

There's a small "tutorial" included with the Locomotion System project folder available at: http://unity3d.com/support/resources/unity-extensions/locomotion-ik

Look in the folder called Documentation, inside the project folder. The docs will guide you through setting up the system.

Sadly, I get a 404. Is there a new link?

i think martin is right in asking this question, I've been trying to get the locomotion system working in a scene made from scratch and keep running into different problems and when i search for an appropriate tutorial all post refer to the documentation in the project file , although they are a good overview of the system i think we really need a good video of how to get everything running smoothly , the locomotion system certainly deserves it

When looking for the locomotion system, the only link I see is this one. However it just redirects me to the "Demo Projects" page. Where are the tutorial / project files?
