IsPlaying is Always Returning True
I am trying to remove health from a NPC when some conditions are met, including if the sword is swinging animation is currently playing. I have it so that if the player is pressing space or the left mouse button then play the animation.
I have an idea where the problem is coming from but I do not know how to resolve it, I am not pressing the space or left button yet the debug.log is saying animation is being played/true. If I untick Play Automatically it then always returns false. OnTriggerEnter2D Method the NPC's health is being removed even if the animtion is not being played since I am not touching the left mouse button or the space bar.
The animation is played in another script using Play();
