post production
I wish to do a few post production effects to my build. the first is a simple fade in screen, with a logo, before the menu screen of the game. the second is a simple credit scroll at the end of the game. can these be done in unity, or is there a different program to create these effects?

There is a lot you can do in Unity. The logo part you can use Unity's Splash Screen in PlayerSettings. If you want to make it more customizable, another solution is to add a scene before your main scene, which will show a logo animation and close and go to main scene. For the credits, you can have another scene at the end of your game, with a rolling text animation. Or, you can have a UI GameObject that masks your game with a black background, rolls the text animation, and at the end closes itself.
