Simple facebook post

Hi, I was using prime31 plugin but had some problems with it so I'm giving u3dxt a try, the first diference I could see was the interface, prime31 used what looks like a native facebook, while u3dxt uses a message pop-up style, I'm wondering if there is a way to use the native one?

The second difference I noticed is that, when I used to post something with prime31, the content was not editable by the user, the content that I create used to show up in facebook as to be inside a box with the link and illustration, while now that box has what appears to come from the website (that is not yet hosted so it's just an error404), and the actual message can be freely edited by the user, so is there a way to make the content I want to post non-editable?

The previous observations were from the SocialTest scene using SocialXT.Post(), I also wanted to try _facebook.PostMessage() (from the same scene) but it logged some errors on my iPhone saying:

 Direct servie init failed :
    Type: Facebook
Error: The Facebook sever could not fulfill this access request: Invalid permission: publish_steam
 post: null

Any idea?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, the APIs we are using to show the Facebook posts are native iOS APIs, which differ from Facebook APIs. We are only exposing what is available in the native iOS SDK.

For the SocialTest using _facebook, you would need to create a Facebook app on the Facebook developer page, and then copy the Facebook app ID into SocialTest.cs. At the top, there is a TODO. You also need to make sure your app's bundle ID matches what you put in your Facebook app.

Hope this helps.
