How to hide .meta files in Visual Studio
I am using Visual Studio on Windows and Mac for coding purposes. The solution explorer displays all .meta files, which makes it difficult to quickly navigate the project structure. Does anybody know how to hide these files from the view? Similar question was asked here for Visual Studio Code.

This looks like a nice add on for VS which can do that : https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=RedVanWorkshop.explorer-exclude-vscode-extension
Edit: Did you have the unity extension for VS installed? Because I am not sure but I think with this, they will dissapear automatically.
Hi, thank you for your response. This is a VS Code extension though, I am using Visual Studio.
