Any idea why Open in Unity doesn't download sample projects?
I've got 2017.1.1f1 installed on Windows 10 Pro 1703 Build 15063.608. I've tried to download sample projects with Chrome and Edge.
The Unity project launcher opens, appears to be doing something that moves a progress bar, and when it's done, nothing happens.
=(
Was hoping to kick some tires before training day at Unite Austin next week. . .

OK, so this is a totally counter-intuitive and nonsensical UX. I have to click some buttons in the asset store, for which nothing will ever happen. THEN I have to go open an unrelated Unity project so that I'm inside the game editor in order to download anything? Huh?
Sure, I'll bite. I open the Asset Store in the game editor. I click the Download link next to the assets, specifically I'd like the Tanks! reference project, it seems to download successfully with a happy progress bar, and then goes where? It doesn't show up in a list that I can find in the Unity game editor or the launcher anywhere. . .
So, I finally wandered around long enough in the wilderness to find (at least these samples) hidden under New Project | Add Asset Package. Really? That's the solution for download a completed sample project for investigation?
