Where is the objects folder?
Hi, I just downloaded Unity today and am very excited about it! I do not know what I am doing wrong here, but it should be really simple. I am going through the 3D Platform tutorial, and I cannot find the Objects folder. I looked everywhere and could not find it. The tutorial said it was in the projects pane. Also, I downloaded the folder that had the starter project in it. (http://unity3d.com/support/resources/tutorials/3d-platform-game). I just do not know where to look. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I doublechecked, and I am indeed seeing an Objects folder as described in the tutorial on page 12. It's between the Materials and Particles folders.
Did you download the 3d platformer project? And in Unity, use File->Open Project and navigate to any scene file within that project folder, and open it.
If that isn't the issue, let's doublecheck that you are seeing other folders from that project. You should see folders like Enemies, Props, Gizoms, GUI (although I may have created some of those during the tutorial, not sure.)
It feels to me like you might have an empty project open - this will give you some standard assets to work with, but not the tutorial assets you are looking for.
Here is the link: http://download.unity3d.com/support/resources/files/3DPlatformTutorial.pdf. It should download a PDF file. It will be on page 12, with the title "Introducing Leprz". I can see the project pane, and there are plenty of folders in it. I just don't see the objects folder. Thanks.

Hi Cyrus, could you possibly provide a little more detail on what you mean by Object folder? Sorry, what you are asking isn't very clear to me.
The thing is, I am not quite sure what it is either. Here is a quote from the tutorial text: "Our first step is to add Lerpz to our Scene: Open the Objects folder in the Project Pane;" (http://download.unity3d.com/support/resources/files/3DPlatformTutorial.pdf) Hope this helps. Thanks.
