characterlocalscale
How do you scale a skinnedmesh character using localScale?
I have a prefab character with a skinned mesh who's scale in the inspector is initially is 1,1,1
When I bring him into unity using the following code and then try to scale the character deforms weirdly. It looks like the character has been flattened and elongated.
GameObject character = (GameObject)Instantiate(Resources.Load("character"));
character.localScale(.1f,.1f,.1f);
If I scale the character beforehand in the inspector and do not scale in the script it works fine. How do I scale the character after it's instantiated?
The character is not parented to anything.
