Cant assign functions to animation events
I can't really find out what is needed for them(functions) to show up here:
They are public on a script that is on the same game object as the animation(animator component). They don't even need any parameters. Any help?
P.s. even this function can't be added:
public void TotalyRandom(){
return;
}
P.s.s. I am using Unity 4.6.0f3 P.s.s.s. I have the animation as single file, and that is pretty much not the case in every tutorial that I look at. Is there any problems with that?
Can you post the script that is on the object? And also, what type of function are you trying to assign??
$$anonymous$$aybe Trivial.. Can you ensure that the function is public, and returns void?
BTW, i'm using 4.6, and i have to type the function name by hand, Not from a dropdown menu. Works fine for me..
@tsrajesh are you adding it from animation window/tab? @gamegirl1984 just did it! Sorry for not responding, it was quite late when I posted this... :P
Yes, I do..
Also, YOu can see that even if it is a single animation, you can "divide" it into multiple animations by providing start and end frame numbers.. IN the same screenshot..
@tsrajesh wow, I just read what I have written, I meant that I have only .anim file (sorry, I'm pretty new to animations and all that stuff). And I can't add the event with inspector like you:
